Available Dogs

Gracie is a 4-year old calm and sweet Lab who enjoys just hanging around with her humans. She likes to perch in a central location to keep an eye on their every move. She is not a barker, but will give an alert if someone new enters the house.
She is a little skittish with sudden noises, but is getting used to new things and feeling more comfortable every day. She sleeps well in her bed and is fine if left alone, uncrated. She is not food-driven and takes treats gently from your hand. A gentle paw on your lap lets you know she’d like a little attention.
She is house trained, but you have to watch for her “signals”. She gets fidgety and lets out a small squeak when it is time to go outside.
She is very good on the leash and enjoys the walks around the neighborhood. She pays little attention to the bunnies or birds, but would love to visit any human in her sight. Although a little shy with strangers at first, she is very friendly and well-mannered.
Although not “tested” with other dogs in the foster home, she did come from a house of several dogs, so it would not be new to her.
Gracie would be a lovely addition to any home.
