Luna is a joyful, playful one-year-old girl with a beautiful black coat that sparkles in the sun. She loves to be on the go—car rides, walks, backyard adventures, you name it! Her nose is always busy, and she enjoys using her excellent sense of smell to explore the yard and investigate interesting scents on walks. She also loves watching birds and looking for lizards in the backyard.

Thunderstorms do not bother Luna. She may startle at a loud clap of thunder, but she quickly realizes everything is okay. Her favorite toys are chew bones and plushies—although plushies do not last long with this typical young Lab, who enjoys tearing them to smithereens!

Luna sleeps through the night on her bed in the bedroom and does well in her crate when she is home alone. She is a smart cookie who catches on quickly, especially when tasty treats are involved. She knows basic commands such as sit, down, and stay, and she is very good at fetch—even bringing the ball back! She is still working on walking nicely on leash, but she is making great progress.

Luna would be a wonderful match for someone who wants an active, eager-to-learn companion and will continue helping her build confidence and skills. She may enjoy activities such as agility, dock diving, or other fun training games. Luna would do best in a home without cats, since she wants to chase them when she sees them on walks. A fenced backyard is a must for this curious girl, who loves to explore, sniff, and keep an eye on the birds.
